Congratulations Simon on completing the Centurion North Downs Way 50 mile run on May 19th.  What a star you are for running for over 10 hours in the brutal heat and looking so good at the end of it!  A real test of your endurance and dedication which we really appreciate!

So now we wish Simon all the best for his next challenge which will be the Centurion North Downs Way 100 mile run on Aug 4th/5th.

The money Simon has raised so far has gone towards funding an EyeGaze system for Craig – an 18 year old who has severe motor and sensory skills impairments.

Now we desperately need more funds to pay for an EyeGaze system to help  open up the world of communication for 7 year old Eliza who has several  complex disabilities and is completely non-verbal.

So please support Simon and together we can continue to make a difference!!

 

Simon completed  the Centurion South Downs Way 50 in 9 hours and 50 minutes. What an amazing achievement!!!

During the course of 2018 and beyond, Simon plans to complete FIVE running events, covering a distance of just over 250 miles!!!

Congratulations Usha Stevens for completing this amazing challenge and raising so much money for JSF.

The money you have raised will go towards funding an EyeGaze device for 18 year Craig who has a number of disabilities, both physical and sensory. He requires a wheelchair and depends on 24 hour support.

Craig needs the EyeGaze device with specialist software which will help him interact with his care team, enabling him to communicate his choices. It would also vastly improve his quality of life by providing him with stimulating and enjoyable learning activities.

We really appreciate your efforts Usha and cannot thank you enough!!!

Sadly Patrice Fanals did not make it to the starting line due to a home emergency. But he put in the training and raised lots of money which is very much appreciated and, of course, will make a huge difference.

We are honoured and delighted that, for a second successive year, the staff and students at Pankhurst House, Surbiton High School (SHS) have raised so much money for JSF.

Throughout the academic year, they have baked cakes, held Raise and Give (RAG) activities, created school sports, drama, and music completion. worn mufti, played a 12- hour Hockathon and, most impressively, held a two-night Fashion Show.

This is an impressive amount of money that will really help to make a difference.

Congratulations to Robbie Anderson and Fiona Anderson for completing this 13.1 mile/21 km run on April 30th and raising £866 for JSF.

Congratulations to Hayley and Team Opia on completing the Tough Mudder challenge on April 29th and raising  £177 for JSF.

The team waded through 5 miles of mud, with 13 obstacles. Well done team and thank you!!

Congratulations to Daniel Ralph for his heroic effort in completing the Virgin Money London Marathon and raising a spectacular £3,576 for JSF.

This was an incredible challenge for Daniel.  Not only was it his first ever marathon but also, after his knee gave out after 2 miles,  he refused to give up and somehow managed to drag himself along the next 24 miles to reach the finishing line.

But he did it, and for that he really deserves that medal and even more support – there is still time to sponsor Daniel.
